A member of the Marion County Board has resigned.
Tim McCance announced his resignation as a result of moving to a new home that is outside District Three where he was elected.
McCance was sworn in December 2024 and served as co-chair of the Road and Bridge Committee.
Board Chair Steve Whritenour will announce a procedure to fill McCance’s seat next week.
