Salem Mayor Nic Farley has signed a proclamation declaring Saturday as C.A.R. Day of Service.
The National Society of the Children of the American Revolution is the oldest and largest patriotic youth organization. It was found on April 5th, 1895.
The group focuses on patriotism and education about the American heritage.
