Home in 200 block of Johnson Street in Centralia where drug bust took place Thursday.
Centralia Police have raided a home in the 200 block of Johnson Street that they say had been the scene of ongoing drug delivery activity.
Chief Greg Dodson says investigators from the Centralia Police Department conducted controlled buys over the past several weeks from 50-year-old Danny White, Junior who resides at the Johnson Street home.
During the execution of the warrant, Justin Brake of Centralia was also taken into custody when he was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine.
Brake and White were both charged with possession of a controlled substance. In addition, White was processed and the reports on the controlled buys were forwarded to the Marion County States Attorney’s office on multiple counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
Two others in the home wanted on outstanding Clinton County warrants were also arrested. 27-year-old Destrian Doza of Walnut Hill and 31-year-old Amber Berry of Warmoth Street in Salem were both taken to the Clinton County Jail.
The raid on the home occurred at 6:58 Thursday morning. The Centralia Police Department High-Risk Entry and Arrest Team were assisted by the ILEAS region nine and 11 teams in executing the search warrant.
The Centralia Police department is also thanking the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Clinton County Sheriff’s office, Wamac Police Department, and the Central City Police department for assisting in the operation.
Meanwhile, in an unrelated arrest, 35-year-old Alan Snow of Metcalf Road in Iuka was taken into custody by Centralia Police during a pedestrian stop at 7th and Pine for alleged possession of a controlled substance. He was reportedly found in possession of 1.8 grams of heroin.
