When Georgia moved on to eternal life, she left behind one son: Rodney Haas and his wife Karen of Cahokia, IL; three daughters: Cynthia Leek and husband Billy of Junction City, Brenda Albright of Junction City, and Debra Hardin and husband Mike of Junction City; eight grandchildren: Jason Albright and wife Christina, Vanessa Setzker and husband Jack, Stephanie Haas, Whitney Osborne, Ashley Prashun and husband Jason, and Angela Walta and husband James, Joseph Hardin, and Joanna Haas; several great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Upon her heavenly arrival, Georgia was reunited with her loving husband Gene Haas, her parents: John and Mary Smith; three brothers: James Smith, Jack Smith, and Charles Smith; one son-in-law: Chris Albright; and one sister-in-law: Ruth Smith.

Georgia was a sweet and generous lady. In her younger years, Georgia worked at Kas Potato Chip Company as a secretary. Later in life, she worked as a Pink Lady at St. Mary’s. She was a Woman of the Moose member for over 60 years. She had a strong Christian faith and was a member of Calumet Street Christian Church. Of all her pastimes, Georgia enjoyed spending time with her family the most. She cared deeply for her family, and they will miss her immensely in return.
