Police Beat for Tuesday, March 14th, 2023

An 18-year-old Centralia woman has been arrested by Centralia Police on two counts of domestic battery.  Tiffany Spataro of Park Lane was taken to the Marion County Jail pending a decision on formal charges.

Salem Police arrested 42-year-old Brian Woodward of East Main in Salem on a Marion County failure to appear traffic warrant.  He posted $250 cash bond and was released from the Marion County Jail.  Woodward also received a notice to appear in court for driving on a suspended license and obstructing a peace officer.

A 43-year-old woman who told Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies she was homeless was arrested on an outstanding Coles County felony failure to appear warrant. Alicia Roberts is wanted on pending aggravated battery to a peace officer and retail theft charges.  The bond on the warrant is set at $20,000.

25-year-old Sharesa Houser of Howard Street in Centralia turned herself in at the Marion County Jail on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant on a criminal damage to property conviction.  She posted $300 bond and was released.

43-year-old Jeri Carpenter of Melrose Drive in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on a Marion County felony warrant and a Clinton County misdemeanor warrant.  She posted $1,000 cash bond on the Marion County warrant in a possession of controlled substance conviction and $500 on the Clinton County warrant in a pending retail theft case.

Salem Police arrested 21-year-old Brittany Knavel of Meachum Road in Kinmundy on an outstanding Marion County traffic warrant.  She posted $420 bond and was released.

62-year-old Dennis Pannell of South Mulberry in Sandoval was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding Marion County DUI warrant.  He posted $500 bond and was released.
