The Franklin Park Bobcats baseball team is at home again today hosting Carlyle. The Bobcat improved to 2-1 on the season beating visiting Breese All Saints yesterday in Salem 8-6. Nolan Krutsinger had 3 hits, 3 runs and 2 RBI. Easton Henson had an RBI single, Jasen Lindsey also singled and scored. Henson got the win going 3.2 allowing 2 earned runs with 5 strikeouts. Lewis Eddy and EJ Wolfe closed it out in relief.
Ryker Lane drove in 4 runs on 4 hits to lead SC over CHBC 11-8. The Falcons had 14 hits in the game. EJ Garner and Tucker Mette had multi-hit games. Kash Hall earned the win allowing 3 hits and 1 earned run over 3 innings with 5 strikeouts.
Also in baseball action on Monday, Dieterich shutout St Michael 11-0 and Murphysboro 13-2 over Anna.
