A 53-year-old former Flora man has disappeared violating his release on bond on pending Class X drug induced homicide and unlawful delivery of methamphetamine charges.

Clay County State’s Attorney Phillip Givens filed a motion to revoke the $1.25-milllion bond of Phillip Blaine Henson on October 26th after he allegedly removed his GPS monitor without permission and disappeared.   A warrant for his arrest was issued on Monday.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office reports Henson had posted the required $125,000 cash bond on August 11th on the pending charges, but was required to wear the GPS monitor at all times.

Police say Henson had recently been living and working in or around the McLeansboro, Illinois area.

The reckless homicide charge stems from the death of 54-year-old Stephanie Harrell of Flora who had been found dead in her vehicle last November parked in an agricultural field entrance on Olive Street just north of US 50 in Flora.
