Salem Police arrested 25-year-old Anthony Dickerson of North Shelby in Salem for violation of an order of protection. Officers took him to the Marion County Jail, where he remains in custody pending further court action.
A 25-year-old homeless Salem man, Cameron Deadmond, was arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding no-bond failure-to-appear domestic violence warrant.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 44-year-old Cornelius Bankhead of Springfield, IL on an outstanding Perry County warrant. He was being held in the Marion County Jail pending transfer to Perry County.
Centralia Fire officials say an eastbound van on East Calumet near Nancy Drive left the road Friday afternoon and crashed through a fence and hit a power pole. The driver, whose name was not immediately released, was not injured. The crash occurred around 2 p.m. Friday.
