The city of Salem has issued a boil order due to a waterline break for West Main from Walnut Street College until further notice. Ten customers are impacted.
Customers in that area experiencing a service outage or low pressure should boil water at a rolling boil for at least FIVE minutes before using. The BOIL ORDER will remain in effect until laboratory sampling confirms that water quality has been fully restored. At that time, notice will be sent out via the City’s Facebook page & Website salemil.us and also WJBD Radio.
