The Centralia City Schools Board of Education approved an addendum to a lease contract with BCMW for the former Field School. The addendum adds the physical address of the building and corrects a date.

There will be a budget hearing before the next regular school board meeting on September 8.

Use of the i-Ready curriculum program from Curriculum Associates was approved to be purchased at a cost not to exceed $59,390.

The board accepted the resignation of Deborah Ruiz as bus monitor and accepted letters of intent to retire from Sandy Becke as classroom teacher, Tricia Woods as classroom teacher, and Bridget Wuebbles as Speech-Language Pathologist, effective at the end of the 2029-2030 school year.

Approved the transfer of Kelly Rightnowar-Jackson from individual paraprofessional to classroom paraprofessional

Approved the employment of Lorenzo Robinson and Dylan Altom as bus monitors, Sara Cantley as fifth grade teacher, Carlie Barban and Malia Woods as individual paraprofessionals, Maelynn Batson as softball coach, and Matthew Brumfield as assistant softball coach.
