The SC Cougars are in baseball action at home against TTown coming off a tough 8-7 loss to Neoga yesterday. The game was tied at 7 in the bottom of the sixth when Neoga took the lead scoring on a wild pitch. SC took a 6-2 lead in the fourth before Neoga started their comeback by tying it with 4 runs in their half of that inning. Ryker Dodson drove in 3 runs, Luke Shumate went 3-4 and Sebastian Kruger had 2 hits.
North Clay fell to Windsor/Stew-Stras 8-4. Talon Hemphill and Noah Kincaid had hits for North Clay, Owen Jones drove in a run along with Collin Schnepper and Colton Cartright.
Odin/Patoka lost to Dieterich 5-1. Hunter Thompson lead the Eagles with 2 hits, Blaize Murray drove in the Odin run. Isaac Guerrettaz took the loss giving up 5 hits and 5 runs over 4.1 with 4 strikeouts.
