Salem Police arrested a 19-year-old Salem man for alleged domestic battery after he reportedly was involved in an altercation with a young brother. Tyree Wilborn of Charleston Road was arrested without incident after police used a loud speaker to ask him to come out of his home. A sheriff’s deputy had earlier been approached by the victim, who appeared battered, and ask for a ride to the hospital. The victim’s mother ended up taking him for treatment. Wilborn was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a first court appearance.
Two others were arrested on outstanding warrants.
- 32-year-old Jubal Dulaney, who told authorities he was homeless, was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on an outstanding misdemeanor no bond failure to appear warrant.
- 24-year-old Elizabeth Mansell of Valentine Street in Odin was arrested by Sandoval Police on an outstanding Perry County no bond traffic warrant.
Salem Police arrested 25-year-old Anthony Dickerson of North Shelby in Salem for alleged driving under the influence. He posted bond and was released.
