A 61-year-old Centralia man was injured when his bicycle collided with a car near the Beach and Rexford Street intersection in Centralia early Thursday night.
Steven Walta of Johnston Street was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of a cut to his nose and ear.
The yellow Camaro that struck Walta and left the scene was later found. The owner said the driver did not have permission to have the car. It is being held by the Centralia Police pending further investigation.
The incident occurred at 6:30 on Thursday night.
