A 37-year-old Odin man has been charged in Marion County Court with aggravated battery.
Dustin Meseke of Farthing Road is accused of striking another inmate in the face with his hand during an altercation in their jail cell. Neither Meseke or the other inmate required hospital treatment.
The altercation occurred on January 5th.
Meseke had a $10,000 personal recognizance bond set on the new charge and the public defender appointed. He remains in custody on a pending burglary case after being arrested on a failure to appear warrant.
