The Northeast Marion County Water Company reports repairs were completed late Saturday night on a major water line break on the Bee Branch Road near Cash Road that has left multiple water systems on system-wide boil orders.
The boil orders remain in effect for the entire Northeast Marion County water system and the FMC Water System as well as the Iuka, Patoka, Kinmundy, Alma, and Farina water systems until further notice until test results are returned assuring the water is safe to drink. However, everyone should once again have good water pressure.
Please boil your water for five minutes for drinking and culinary purposes.
