Salem swimmers had great performances recently at the DuQuoin Invitational.
Austin Woolridge and Branson Pappas put in work down south and came away with lower times and some hardware. Woolridge took home 2nd place in a blazing fast time of 26.69 in the 50m free with Pappas coming in 9th. Austin then brought home 2 3rd places, in the 50m Butterfly and the 100m Breaststroke with Pappas 7th and 6th respectively. Austin was also 4th in the 100m Backstroke with Pappas 6th.
Joscelyn Redenbo had a great meet today. She got 1st place in butterfly and back stroke 4th in freestyle and 3rd in breaststroke. She also received the 1st place high points award for her age group with 71 points for her team.
