UNDATED (AP) — No. 3 Washington, No. 4 Florida State and No. 5 Oregon all moved up a spot in The Associated Press college football poll to give the Pac-12 two top-five teams for the first time since the final ranking of the 2016 season. Georgia remained No. 1 and received 52 of 62 first-place votes. Michigan returned to No. 2 following a week at No. 3 and received 10 first-place votes after beating Ohio State 30-24. The Buckeyes slipped from second to No. 6 and cleared the way for Washington to reach its best ranking since finishing the 2000 season at No. 3.

UNDATED (AP) — Other than the people inside the Iowa football building and the team’s most optimistic fans, few expect the Hawkeyes to pose much of a challenge to Michigan in the Big Ten championship game. Doubts that the No. 18 Hawkeyes can upset the second-ranked Wolverines are illustrated by the point spread. FanDuel Sportsbook lists Iowa as a 22 1/2-point underdog for Saturday night’s game in Indianapolis. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says his team has won as a long shot before and that anything is possible in sports.

UNDATED (AP) — Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is ready to put his money where his mouth is if it means college football players and other athletes would be paid. He said he would take less pay if that would help athletes to get paid by the schools. He said he hopes other coaches would make the same offer. He said he was reminded of the sacrifice athletes make when offensive lineman Zak Zinter broke his leg in the third quarter of the Wolverines’ 30-24 win over Ohio State.

ESTERO, Fla. (AP) — Caitlin Clark scored 32 points, and No. 5 Iowa survived wasting a pair of double-digit leads before rallying to finally beat No. 16 Kansas State 77-70 in the championship game of the Gulf Coast Showcase on Sunday night. Clark made seven 3-pointers, the last coming with 47 seconds left, to help ensure the Hawkeyes (7-1) would win and avenge a Nov. 16 loss to Kansas State. Molly Davis added 13, while Kate Martin had 11 points and 10 rebounds for Iowa. Serena Sundell and Ayoka Lee each scored 18 for Kansas State (6-1).

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Rebeka Mikulasikova and Cotie McMahon both scored 14 points and No. 15 Ohio State coasted to an 83-40 win over Cornell. Summer Parker-Hall scored 13 points for the Big Red, which had 26 turnovers that were turned into 33 points. Ohio State had a 13-2 run early in the first quarter and closed it with six-straight points to lead 33-11. The Buckeyes then scored the first 10 points of the second quarter and after Parker-Hall hit a jumper for the Big Red, scored the last 13 points. Cornell was 1 of 12 in the second quarter and had 17 turnovers by halftime to trail 45-13.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Jonathan Mogbo finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds, Marcus Williams scored 20 and San Francisco cruised to a 76-58 victory over Minnesota. Mogbo sank 9 of 15 shots and added three assists and three steals for San Francisco (5-2). Williams made 6 of 11 shots for the Dons, who shot 52.4% from the floor. Mike Sharavjamts pitched in with 13 points, three assists and three steals. Freshman reserve Ryan Beasley scored 11 and added six steals and three assists. Dawson Garcia hit two 3-pointers and scored 19 with six rebounds to pace the Golden Gophers (4-2). Pharrel Payne contributed 15 points and six rebounds off the bench.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Kel’el Ware scored 28 points, Mackenzie Mgbako added 18, career highs for both, and Indiana pulled away for an 89-76 win over Harvard. The Hoosiers shot 59% and scored 26 of their 50 second-half points in the paint while outscoring the Crimson by 14. Ware was 12-of-13 shooting with four dunks and three layups and sinking a 3-pointer for measure. Ware, a 7-foot transfer from Oregon, and Mgbako, a 6-8 freshman, both had eight rebounds. Malik Mack scored 27 points, 19 in the second half as he tried to keep the Crimson in the game.

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Rienk Mast scored 19 points, Keisei Tominaga added 17, and Nebraska continued its hot start to the season, defeating Cal State Fullerton 85-72. Nebraska improved to 7-0 for the first time since the 1992-93 season and just the fifth time in program history. Mast and Tominaga opened the second half with 3-pointers and the Cornhuskers extended their 11-point halftime lead to 17 points at 53-36. Nebraska led by double digits throughout the second half. Cal State Fullerton got as close as 11 down in the final 2 1/2 minutes but Nebraska had no trouble maintaining its lead.
