The Softball Major’s City Series is tied at 1 game a piece after Landers beat Dairy Queen 8-2. In the win for Landers, Trish Mckenzie had 2 hits and 2 runs, Chelsey Haines had 2 hits and drove in a run, Brylee Carter scored and added 2 hits while Maxlyn Maciejowski had 2 hits and drove in a pair of runs. In the loss for DQ, Alyssa Eagan, Jorja English and Gabby Goosetree all had a hit and drove in a run. Kenzie Collier and McKenleigh Parker also singled.
In Minor’s, T&K Title beat Modern Woodman 5-3 thanks to a grand slam from Kenley Cripps in the bottom of the 5th. Katee Sellers scored 2 runs. Caitlynne Bryan and Brylee Pennypacker scored runs. Abigail Thompson struck out 10 in the circle. For Modern Woodman, Kendall Zimmermann scored along with Quinn Wolfe and Willow Amburgey. Reagan Shuler took the loss and struck out 8.
In girls coach pitch, All State beat Gadget Gurus 15-8. Goosetree led All State with 4 hits including a double. All State got things going in the opening inning on a 2 run single from Abbi Haines. Also All State got multi-hit games from Briah Henseler, Julianna Rushing, Abbi Haines, Graci Green, Ally Pryor and Adalyn Reynolds.
