The Edwardsville Lady Tigers finished 3rd in the IHSA Class 4a state softball tournament at Louisville Slugger Park in Peoria, beating Barrington in the 3rd place game 4-3. St Charles North was the state champ beating Marist 3-2.
In 3a, Lemont is the state champion after their 1-0 win over St Ignatius Prep. Antioch beat Mahomet Seymour in the 3rd place game also by a 1-0 score.
