The Salem 12u finished 2nd at their tournament this weekend falling in the championship to the SI Stealers 8-6. Silas Lux went 3-3 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored including a home run for Salem who also got RBI from Jaxon Ward, Drake Rector, Damon Jennings and Trenton Shelton. Rector hit a home run.
Salem made the title game with a dominant 14-1 win over Jefferson County Little League. Scout Puricelli homered going 3-3 with 3 runs, Drake Rector, Shelton and Caleb Squibb drove in 2 runs each, Nicholi Mahrenka dded 3 RBI.
In pool play, Salem beat the Murphysboro Generals 14-9. With 3 RBI from Lux and 2 each from Damon Jennings, Shelton and Mahrenka.
