The 1a girls soccer season had their state semifinals yesterday at North Central College in Naperville with a couple of great games. Richmond Burton edged Lombard Montini 1-0 while Quincy Notre Dame beat Normal University by the same 1-0 score. Richmond and Quincy play for the title today at 5pm after the 3pm 3rd place game with Lombard and Normal.
In 2a, Maddie Hunt scored the Triad goal to life them over Waterloo in Troy 1-0.
In 3a, Edwardsville shutout Normal Community 5-0.
