A 33-year-old homeless Centralia man has been sentenced to two years in prison after admitted to committing an aggravated battery for striking a Centralia Police officer in the face.
Evan Winkoff had a second aggravated battery charge in connection with the same incident in May of last year that was dropped as part of the plea.
Winkoff will have to complete a year probation when getting out of jail. He received 413 days credit for time already served in the Marion County Jail.
