The name of the man killed in a four-wheeler crash on Richardson Road off Lake Centralia has been released.
He’s identified as 50-year-old Andrew Ferguson of Cascade Lane, a short distance from where the crash occurred.
Marion County Chief Deputy Anthony Decker says Ferguson hit a tree that had fallen across the road and was thrown off the four-wheeler.
Ferguson was pronounced dead at the scene by Marion County Coroner Claude Howell, who said Ferguson had died from blunt force trauma to the head.
Decker said a witness had seen the tree that eventually fell across the road leaning at six Thursday morning. A passerby discovered the crash at about 9:30 Thursday morning.
