A 21-year-old Kinmundy man escaped with only minor injuries in a single-car crash early Saturday morning on Route 37 South on the south side of Salem.
Salem Police say Payton Potter of 3rd Street was traveling northbound when he lost control, veered off the road, hit two mailboxes, and came to rest in the west side ditch. He was checked on the scene by United Medical Response, but declined hospital treatment.
The crash was reported at 5:25 Saturday morning.
