Tammy P. May, 42, of Alma, Illinois passed away Sunday at her home in the care of her loving family.
The family chose a simple cremation, with a graveside service scheduled for 2:00 pm, Monday, July 5, 2021 at the East Lawn Cemetery in Salem. Friends are asked to gather with the family prior to the service at the Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family and will be accepted by the Sutherland – Rankin Funeral Home, P.O. Box 97, Salem, IL, 62881, entrusted with the family’s care.
Tammy is survived by her children, Dwayne, Christopher, Brittany and Abigail May, a granddaughter Alice Owens and her former husband, Gary May. Also her siblings, Paul Nibert of Kokomo, IN, Tommy Hays of Farina, IL and Freda L. Nibert of Alma, IL.
Born October 10, 1978 in Centralia, IL, she was the daughter of Rosie Bell (Phelps) Hays. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by a son, Jordan Owens.
