Centralia Police arrested a Wamac man on an outstanding Marion County no-bond felony failure-to-appear warrant. Officers transported 51-year-old Gary Higgins to the Marion County Jail to await further court action.
Officers arrested a 27-year-old Salem man on an outstanding Jefferson County warrant. Dillon Brown was later transported to the Jefferson County Jail in Mt. Vernon.
Centralia City Firemen reported a wiring fire was confined to one wall of a mobile home on Deerwood Lane late Friday afternoon. Firefighters put out the fire with a water cannon.
