Centralia Police have made an arrest in connection with shots fired into a home on the 1200 block of McKee Street in June.
18-year-old Sincer Rogers of McKee Street in Centralia was arrested Thursday night when police were investigating a loud music complaint on Devonia Drive. He’s been charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm, armed violence and reckless conduct in connection with the original shooting incident. He’s also been arrested for resisting arrest in an October 31st traffic stop where he was a passenger who successfully ran from the vehicle. Rogers was also arrested for obstructing justice for allegedly giving police a false name while they were investigating the loud music complaint.
Centralia Police say the June 20th shooting incident was solved with interviews of witnesses to the shooting and Ring door bell video collected in the neighborhood.
Police report the home that was hit by the gunfire was occupied, but no one inside was injured. Rogers is believed to have fired the shots while standing in the street.
