Earl L. Sullens, 64, of Salem, passed away on September 5th, 2026, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield with his loving wife by his side. He was born on July 24th, 1962, in Brush, Colorado to Francis “Coonie” and Dorthy (Fyke) Sullens. He would meet his soulmate, Pam Bullard, in 1979, and they would spend 47 amazing years together.
He is survived by his wife: Pam Sullens; son: Justin Sullens; brothers: John (Donna) Smith and Tim (Lucretia) Sullens; sisters: La Donna Sullens, Janet (Denny) Rodgers, and Penny (Francis) Maier; nephew: Marty (Krista) Sullens; and several other nieces and nephews
Earl had accepted Jesus as his Savior. He enjoyed riding ATV’s, his Harley, and listening to classic rock. He was a master at playing foosball. Earl had a love of animals that was only topped by the love he shared with his soulmate and son. He was the love of Pam’s life and Justin’s best friend. He will be missed by all that knew him.
A funeral service will be held on Friday September 11th, 2026, at 3:00 pm at the Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Martin Cemetery. A time of visitation will be from 1:00 till the time of service.
