Franklin Park softball fell to Aviston 6-5 in a walk-off defeat. Brinn Detmer, Kaylee Carroll, Gwen Goosetree and Mira Deadmond all had Salem hits with Detmer driving in 2 runs. Jayla Tabor was the starter allowing 2 hits and 1 earned run over 4 innings.
The Selmaville Lady Rockets continued to win as they shutout Bethel at the Little League Complex 15-0. Khaeler Williams had 3 hits including a triple and drove in a run. Gia Ward added a double. Gray Garden had 3 hits with a double and 3 RBI. Williams and Ward scored 3 runs each and Kennedy Thompson added an RBI.
Adryanna Wynn drove in 4 runs to lead Iuka over Central City 22-7. Iuka scored 14 runs in the second inning and six more in the fourth. Wynn was the winning pitcher giving up 3 hits and six earned. Grayce Rose led Iuka going 2-3. Iuka took advantage of 13 walks. Iuka will play at North Clay today.
Patoka earned the win yesterday 9-0 as two pitcher combined in the shutout. Charlee Murray and Mabree Phelps each threw in the win. Jessa Thalman drove in 3 runs going 2-4.
The South Central Lady Falcons beat Flora 15-2 in six innings. Lexy Garrett, Raelyn Parker, Skylar Webster, Aubree Simmons and Ellie Williams each drove in SC runs. Webster doubled and was the winning pitcher. She struck out 12 and allowed just 2 hits and no earned runs. SC hosts Sigel St Michael this afternoon.
Nashville shutout Centralia 23-0, Sandoval over Field 15-8.
