The Franklin Park Lady Bobcats fell to Effingham 19-2. Kaylee Carroll and Brinn Detmer each drove in the Salem runs. Skylar Gaston worked 3 innings of relief for Salem. Gwen Goostree and Gaston added Salem hits.
The SC Lady Falcons softball team is at Flora. South Central beat down Altamont 16-7 yesterday breaking the game open with a 9 run third inning. Lexy Garrett and Rya Sidwell each doubled with Garrett driving in 2 runs. Alexa Gile tripled part of her 3-5 day with 5 RBI and 2 runs scored. Ellie Williams also tripled and drove in 2. Garrett and Skylar Webster combined for the win striking out 14.
Nadea Crist struck out 14 leading Raccoon over Sandoval 8-2. She allowed 1 hit and 2 runs over 6 innings. Julianna Rushing went 3-4 with a double. Izzy Hall also drove in 2 runs along with Rushing. Also with RBI for Raccoon were Emerie Cluck, Kloey Wuehler, Izzy Bradley and Amyah Williams.
North Clay lost to Dieterich 15-0, Flora big over Olney 15-3, Nashville shuts out Pinckneyville 1-0 and Waltonville 20-0 over Field.
