Strobel’s Extra Inning Squeeze Lifts SC Over Woodlawn

The SC Cougars improved to 2-0 as they knocked off Woodlawn 2-1 in 8-innings at Lions Field on Saturday.  Aiden Strobel’s suicide squeeze bunt gave the Cougars the win.  Colton Tockstein drove in the other Cougar run, it came in the first inning.  Tockstein also went 6 innings allowing 1 earned run and 4 hits with Garret Shumate working 2 innings of relief for the win.  Ryker Dodson had 2 doubles, Luke Shumate had 2 hits.  Stobel finished 2-3 with a double.
