In middle school softball, St Mary/Willow Grove scored 12 runs in the second inning to help pull away and beat Iuka 15-0. The Wildcards had 13 hits. Devyn Dodillet-Tomlianovich went 3-3 with 4 RBI. Aubrey Kuder, Hanleigh Schmidt, Briella Alcorn, Vayda Mullinex-Davis and Allison Siegler each had multiple hits. Siegler would drive in 3 runs with 2 each from Schmidt, Mullinex-Davis and Kuder. Schmidt threw the two inning no hitter striking out 6.
The SC Lady Falcons scored 3 times in the 3rd inning and held on for a 3-1 win over St Elmo. Skylar Webster struck out 13 allowing just 1 hit in the win. Raelyn Parker went 2-3 in the win, Alexa Gile tripled, with singles from Emory Burdine and Elle Williams.
St Mary/OBR beat Casey Mt Vernon 16-1 with Sadie Bowler tossing a not hitter in the win while striking out 8.
In other softball action, Flora 13-2 over Lawrenceville, Nashville lost 7-5 to Murphysboro, North Clay was doubled up by Sacred Heart 20-10 and Summersville shutout Bethel 16-0.
