Christ Our Rock Lutheran struggled to generate offense Tuesday, falling to Brownstown, 8-0.
The Bombers broke through in the third inning, taking advantage of a combination of walks, defensive miscues and timely hitting to score four runs and take control of the game.
Garrett Denton started on the mound for Christ Our Rock Lutheran and worked three innings. He allowed two hits and four runs, none of which were earned, while striking out five and walking two.
Offensively, Hayden Weibley and Keagan Quick each collected a hit for the Stallions while hitting back-to-back in the lineup.
Brownstown was led offensively by Logan Lach, who went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs from the No. 3 spot. Lach and Zayden Gillespie each recorded two hits for the Bombers.
Christ Our Rock Lutheran will look to bounce back Wednesday when the Stallions travel to face Farina South Central.
