Centralia City Firemen say flames from a fire in a construction dumpster behind the 300 block of East Broadway were shooting high into the air when they were called to the scene.
The business buildings were only five or six feet away, but the fire was knocked down before it caused any issues. The dumpster contained construction debris and landscape waste.
The cause of the fire is not determined.
The fire call came in at 1:30 Thursday morning.
