A new bank is coming to Salem, but it’s a familiar name.
Farmer’s State Bank based in Hoffman with full-service facilities in Central City and Hoyleton has announced it will be opening a loan production office on South Broadway in Salem.
Bank President and CEO Ted Macon says they have hired Meredith Robb as a loan officer. He notes that is a first step to the possible opening of a full-service banking facility if the business is there.
Macon says a soft opening will begin in the next few weeks. He feels Salem is a great fit and already is number three on cities where they have loans.
Farmer’s State Bank dates its beginning to 1912 and prides itself on exceptional customer service.
