Police Beat for Thursday, August 13th, 2026

A 19-year-old Salem man was arrested at the Marion County Courthouse on Wednesday and taken to the Marion County Jail to serve a 30 day sanction.

Michael Shanafelt received the sanction for violation of pre-trial release in a pending felony case.
