Selmaville opened up their softball season with a 17-4 win over Field. Gia Ward was the winning pitcher throwing 2 innings. At the plate, every player scored at least once. Berkleigh Garden singled and drove in a run. Ward went 2-4 with a double and 5 RBI, Khaeler Williams singled, Gray Garden had 2 hits with a double and a RBI, Thea James singled. Selmaville will play Thursday at Odin when they play Raccoon in the opening round of the OBC Tournament.
The SC Lady Falcons dominated Dieterich and shut them out 16-0 as Skylar Webster allowed just 1 hit in the 3-inning complete game. Lexy Garrett led SC with 3 RBI along with Violet Skibinski. Alexa Gile and McKenna Mette had 2 RBI each. Raelyn Parker, Emory Burdine and Aubree Simmons added RBI.
Raccoon scored 9 runs in the second inning helping them beat Rome 15-5. The Lady Devils grabbed a 3-1 lead in the first inning when Kloey Wuehler doubled home 2 runs and Amyah Williams drew a bases loaded walk. Raccoon extended their lead in the third thanks to RBI singles by Izzie Bradley and Mya Henke. Izzy Hall drove in 2 runs, Julianna Rushing 2-3 with 2 RBI, Emerie Cluck had 3 hits and drove in a run, Wuehler drove in 3 runs, Lily Wynn had 2 hits and an RBI and Giselle Meisel added a RBI. Nadea Crist was the winning pitcher allowing 2 hits and 2 earned runs over 2 innings.
