The Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports an 82-year-old Kinmundy man fell 20 feet to a rock driveway in rural Salem following a tree cutting accident on Friday morning.
Initial reports indicate the man, whose name has not been released, was standing 20 feet in the air on a ladder cutting down the limb when it began to fall and swung towards the ladder knocking the Kinmundy man to the ground.
The accident occurred at a home on Hester Lane near Cross Road around 9:40 Friday morning.
