Salem Police arrested 54-year-old Joseph Martino of Chatham Drive in Salem on multiple charges following a traffic stop on West Main and Delmar early Friday night. Martino was initially arrested on an outstanding New Jersey warrant. New charges of possession of over five grams of methamphetamine, driving on a suspended license, having an open container of alcohol, no front license plate, and expired registration followed. Martino was taken to the Marion County Jail to await further court action.
Central City Police arrested 58-year-old Jeffery Skibinski of Charlotte Street in Central City for violation of an order of protection.
Salem Police arrested 26-year-old Abbie Harris of Legg Lane in Salem for criminal trespass to the Salem Walmart store where she had earlier been banned. She was also arrested for misuse of an intoxicating compound. Harris was released on a notice to appear in court.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies brought 38-year-old Shawn Lindsey of South Madison in Kinmundy to the county jail on a 30-day sanction.
