The Centralia City Council Monday night will hear two reports.
Milano and Grumloh Engineers will give their monthly update on the status of grant projects. The Centralia Tourism Commission will give an update on their activities.
The council will be asked to close streets for two events. The Locust Street Pub is seeking permission to close the street in front of their businesses for a special event on August 22nd. The council will also be asked to close a portion of West Broadway downtown for the annual Monster Crawl event on October 17th. The approval will allow for vendors in the downtown area.
Both events will ask for a waiver of the noise ordinance and consumption of alcohol on the sidewalks and streets.
A resolution is before the council to reappoint Jeremy Henderson to the Police Pension Board.
The meeting begins at six Monday night at Centralia City Hall.
