Haar’s Big Game Lifts Aviston To Sr Legion State Semi

Aviston is into the State Legion Baseball semifinals as they survived Palos last night 4-2.  Conlan Haar had all 4 RBI, a 2-run hit in the first and then the go-ahead 2-run homer in the bottom of the sixth to send the home fans happy on The Hill.  Aviston will take on Galesburg today at 2:30 with the winner headed to the State Championship.  The loser’s bracket game will feature Palos and Rock Island with that winner playing the loser of the 2:30 game for the other spot in the finals.
