2021 05/14 – Earl F. Perry

Earl F. Perry, 69, of Bradley, Illinois, passed away at home at 11:47 am May 9, 2021. Earl was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Bulls.

A Visitation will be held Friday, May 14, 2021 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Tex Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Earl’s honor to the charity of the donor’s choice. Please remember to observe social distancing at this time. We are limited to 50 people in our building at a time. Following the CDC and NFDA regulations, we encourage everyone to wear a mask. In addition to his loving wife of fifty-one years, Earl is survived by his children, Tonya Larkins of Bourbonnais, Illinois, Frankie Perry of Irvington, Illinois; grandchildren, Cody (Brittany) Larkins of Manteno, Illinois, Chase Larkins of Bourbonnais, Illinois, Connor Larkins of Bourbonnais, Illinois; brothers, Tex (Darla) Perry of Goreville, Illinois, Max Perry of Herrin, Illinois, Wex Perry of Alanta, Missouri; sister, Judy (Mike) Webb of St. Peter’s, Missouri; and special friend of the family, Larry Lamie.

He was born April 21, 1952 in Carbondale, Illinois to Ralph Perry and Melba (Henderson) Perry. Earl married Barbara (Tate) Perry on May 9, 1970. Earl was preceded in death by his mother, Melba Genelle Wright; brother, Rex Perry; sisters-in-law, Mazie Perry and Cheryl Perry.
