Leonard L. Goff, 70, of Cartter, Illinois passed away at his home on Sunday, May 9, 2021. A laborer in the oil field, and torch operator, he was an employee of Jarco in Salem for twenty years. He love to spend time with his family and friends.
Simple Cremation was chosen by the family with no public visitation or service time. Memorial may be made to the family and will be received by the Sutherland – Rankin Funeral Home, P.O. He married Elsie M. Miller, November 11, 1974 in Salem and she survives in Cartter, along with children David Goff of Cartter, Misty Goff and husband Mike Phillips of Centralia and April Noyce and husband David of Cartter. Also grandchildren Derrick, Dominque, Tia, Dawn, Matthew, Timothy, A. J. and Dawn. and several great grandchildren. Also left to mourn his passing are siblings Steve (Susan) Goff of Flora, IL, Jesse Goff of Iuka, IL, Tim (Emily) Goff of Salem, IL, Marilyn Bunton of Salem, IL, and Sheila (Danny) Martinez of Hillsboro, MO.
He was born April 12, 1951 in Decatur, IL, the son of Roy L. and Hazel E. (Phelps) Goff who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Gary and Frank Goff.
