Salem Community High School seniors were presented $1,046,908 in scholarships during Senior Awards Night Monday night.

Jordan Kessler was awarded Outstanding Senior of the Year and Kyler Sapp Senior Volunteer of the year.

Other outstanding students were recognized by various departments of the high school.  Finley Puricelli was named Outstanding Math Student, Ellianna Blackburn Outstanding English Student, Kinsey Jarrett and Eden Russell as Outstanding Child Care Students, Madysen Arnold Outstanding Clothing and Textiles Student, Kelsen Maxey as Outstanding Culinary Arts Student, Kinsey Jarrett as Outstanding Co-Op Student, Ramiro Mendosa Outstanding General Studies Student, Finley Puricelli Outstanding Science Student, Lillian Thornburg Outstanding Social Studies Student, and Kinsey Jarrett as Outstanding Spanish Student.

The Outstanding Artist of the graduating class is Laci Harrell.  The Outstanding Vocalist is Elara Brubaker.  The Choral Director’s Award was presented to Zoey Eastin, Color Guard award to Mallory Hopkins, Band Director’s Award Elara Brubaker, the Kohrig Memorial Award to Eden Russell and the John Philip Sousa Award to Zoey Heiple.

The outstanding Dram student was Laci Harrell, Senior Technology Award to Miranda Bailey, Green Team Recycler of the Year to Atiana Pitty, Golden Anvil Award to Zane Barthelemy, Building Trades Student of the Year to Ryegan Warren, Auto Student of the Year to Austin Woolridge, Keegan Cain and Matilin Maxey were Outstanding Physical Education Students and Audrey Lybarger was Outstanding Weight Training Student.
