It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Pamela S. Rash on Friday, May 1st, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on Tuesday, January 6th, 1959, the daughter of Billie D. Hawkins and Eileen (Carpenter) Hawkins. She married Charles Rash on December 19, 2003, and he survives in Walnut Hill
Pamela dedicated her life to her family. Her passions included gardening, reading, and cooking, and she was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, never missing an opportunity to cheer on her favorite team. Pamela’s love for animals was only rivaled by her devotion to her family and grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Pamela is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Rash of Walnut Hill. She was the proud mother of two daughters, Michele Mueller and her special friend, Matthew Craney, of Walnut Hill, and Shannon Tabor and her husband Jacob of Lake St. Louis, Missouri. She is also survived by her stepchildren, April Rash of Ashland, Missouri, and Joe Rash of Queen City, Missouri. Pamela adored her eight grandchildren: Adam Mueller, Allison Mueller, Paityn Tabor, Kaileigh Tryon and husband Ozzie, Mackenzie Samoro and husband Zach, Dallas Smith, Hayden Rash, and Corbin Rowland. Additionally, Pamela cherished her great-grandchildren, leaving behind two with one more on the way. Her sisters, Phyllis Wilkerson and Joni Peak and husband Sonny of Centralia, and her brothers-in-law, Richard Rash, John Kelsall, Randy Rash, and Robbie Rash, along with numerous nieces and nephews, will remember her fondly.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents: Billie D. and Eileen Hawkins, her son-in-law: Robert Mueller, her sister: Carole Roper, her brother-in-law: Ken Wilkerson, her nephew: Shane Peak, niece: Melissa Roper, and her father and mother-in-law: Charles Rash and Patricia Damon.
In accordance with Pamela’s wishes, a private family service will be conducted, with burial to follow at Little Grove Cemetery in Walnut Hill, Illinois.
