David Lee Crunk, age 71, of Kell, Illinois, passed away at his home on May 2, 2026.
He was born on October 19, 1954, in Odin, Illinois, to Robert Crunk and Melba June (Hodge) Nolte.
David worked as a truck driver and was employed by Egyptian Concrete as well as the Marion County Highway Department. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and enjoyed carpentry and woodworking in his spare time.
He is survived by his children, Trisha Crunk of Centralia, Brandi (Charles) Bruno of Vandalia, and Max (Summer) Crunk of Irvington; six grandchildren, Kaleb, Kailyn, Kali, Jarakia, Cole, and Morgan; and his stepfather, George Nolte of Sandoval. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, David Lee Crunk Jr.; and his sister, Patty Matyasec.
