Keep Salem Beautiful has presented its latest Beautiful Business Award to Little Egypt Golf Cars.
The coordinator of the program Sharon Blair presented the award and $125 check.
“Keep Salem Beautiful, as part of their annual programs, would like to recognize all of the businesses in town who do a little bit extra to keep their places pretty, clean, and beautiful,” Blair said. “We think Little Egypt Golf Cars is a perfect example of things that have been done to beautify the town.”
Neal Smith says Little Egypt Golf Cars moved to their new location just off North Hotze Road in 2023.
“We’re just very grateful for Keep Salem Beautiful,” Smith said. “It’s a great organization and they do a lot for the city. We appreciate the recognition, and we are happy to be able to contribute to the growth and visibility of the community, and hope to continue that.
Due to the number of businesses they want to recognize, an award will now be presented every other month instead of once a quarter.
