The Salem Community Activity Center is hosting its first-ever Free Prom Night Portrait Stations.
Those going to Salem High Prom can have photos taken in the portrait stations from five to eight on Friday evening before prom.
The center’s director Marcie Auvil says nine stations have been set up by area businesses.
“I got to thinking about prom and how it rains all the time on Salem’s prom. Now, it’s probably not going to happen this year, because we have a backup plan, but I thought it would be beautiful to turn our gym into a series of portrait stations where the kids could come and have a place to get their photo taken, all dressed pretty, not very far from the school. So, I invited some local businesses to help with it.”
Auvil says you can take your own photos at no cost. Those who want a professional photographer will have one available to take photos for a fee.
