Illinois State Police have made an arrest in a 42-year-old homicide cold case in Southern Illinois.
76-year-old George E. Bradfield of Owensboro, Kentucky was arrested on five counts of murder in connection with the March 30th, 1984 death of 26-year-old Lisa Ann Carnes in a field in rural Massac County.
The Massac County Sheriff’s Office, the Owensboro (KY) Police Department, the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit, and Parabon NanoLabs Inc. assisted with the investigation.
