Doris turned her passion for creating beautiful, handmade crafts and teddy bears into a business opportunity, grateful to share her talent with appreciative customers. She easily found beauty in all things and situations, bringing contagious positivity to all her days. Doris looked forward to sprucing up her home, working in her yard, and making a tranquil space where her flowers invited bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds with their colorful petals. She was an amazing cook who loved making family dinners, gathering all around her table for good food and excellent conversations. Doris was recognized and awarded for her art by her peers as a juried artist at Cedarhurst in Mount Vernon. Doris was kind, compassionate, thoughtful and the backbone of her family. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
